The assembly shewed a group Of teenagers out on a party in the snow giving the pro's and cons on winter and winter sports. On the assembly the candidates for Mr. and Miss SOpho-mor- e were introduced by Dennis Peinick as Santa, They afe 6s follows: Sharon Hadley, Bill Norris, Judy Henderson, Mike Jensen, Diana McCracken, Roger Poulter, Kay Folkman, Robert Taylor, Jan Lambert, and Larry Hammer. Judy Henderson was chosen Miss Sophomore with Mike Jensen as Mr. Sophomore. Blue Winter Fantasy was their theme. It takes only a snatch of melody from an old Christmas Carol, and memories come flooding back, some happy, others sad, but all a part of Christmas-- Some say Christmas is too commercialized. It neednt be if we remember the real meaning of Christmas and keep the true spirit of Christmas ever in our hearts. The 136th Quorum of Seventy arc holding their Christmas program and dinner the evening of Dee. 11 at 7 p.m. at West Point Ward. They have wonderful parties and especially at Christmas. The Father and Sons banquet at Davis High Schcol will also be held Dec. 11. The Relief Society is going to hr Id its annual Christmas party on Dec 16, at 1 p.m. D.nner will be sfrved at 1 p.m. with a Christmas piogram following the dinner. No Relief Society meetings will be held until after the holidays. On the evening of Dec. 16 at 7 30 p.m. the MIA will present a Christmas program. There will be a Christmas story, poetry and mu. sic. Everyone is invited to attend. The MIA always puts on a lovely program. Youll enjoy it very much. The Primary is busy making plans for the children's Christmas party which will be held Dec. 19.
