Following the presentation of the colors and the opening prayer, the Cubs and their parents enjoyed a delicious meal. Awards were given to a large number of Cub Scouts and games were played. The tables were decorated in blue and gold. Cakes frosted with gold frosting centered with blue candles an place cards carried out the coluV'schetne. Sacrament meeting in the Roy First Ward Sunday was very enjoy able as usual. In addition to the fine spirit which always prevails, Helen Hardy, a returned missionary spoke of her experiences in the mission field. Miss Pat Griff'u spoke on How We Should Jrjv " Two young people were gradu dri from Primary. Miss Karen Sto will take her place in Mutual from now on but she expressed a desire to continue to help in the ITimary. Jay L. Cottle was graduated from Primary also and will be ordained a. Deacon in the next priesthood meeting. The Boy Scouts conducted a metal drive last Saturday. scrap They were not able to complete it o they will collect again this Saturday. Anyone having any scrap metal of any sort is asked to contact Ray Frost. have their PTA Founder Day program on March 7th. The fifth and sixth grades will present the pro grim of dancing for their parents. Light refreshments will be served. The Parent Teacher conferences have been acheduled for March 14th and 14th. Notices will be sent out in advance to give the parents time to arrange their schedules to fit the appointments. If for any reason you cannot arrange to meet at the time listed on your notice, please contact the principal of the school, Joseph Allen, and- other arrangements will he made.
