Show u L I The f-- Uintah News Marion swan and Roralle Garner We are really having an "Indian summer" and it is really grand, however, it will he kinda nice if it will snow for Christmas, huh! But with this kind of weather it makes our Christmas shopping a little more enjoyable, and maybe if we hurry we can have it all done before we do have a change in the weather, Uintah is all enthused about the gas being put in, that is those who are going to have it. The pipe is being laid now, and perhaps by next year when Mr Winter comes along, the gas appliances will be installed. It will be really wonderful, for some of us that have had to make fires for so many years and have the home first cold and then roasting hot I think it will probably make some of us a little "lazy," hut comfortably so. Leadership meeting was held In the Uintah ward last week, and council and advice was given each ward worker. Better attendance at sacrament and leadership meeting was stressed and the heads of each organization were told to impdess this on their workers and try to have better percentage. The next leadership meeting fo. ward workers will be held Dec. 20, so be sure and reserve this night. By the way the organization with the lowest sacrament attendance will have to give a party on this I night, so better get behind your organization and boost them to the top. I December is always a busy month for every body with church, community and school activities But we hoe that it won't kyep us so busy that we do not have time to stop and think of the first Christ mas, and what this means to us Christmas is becoming so commercialized that it is easy to forget the purpose, but lets not let this happen to any of us ROY AUTO PARTS IMiono !('.!!( 5.116 So. 1900 ALIO CLASS ANI) ACCESSORIES I A RTS West, Roy ir iWm Roy, Utah, Thursday, Reeoinhor 6, 1956 e, Also, we should take time out from our busy day to thank our Father on Heaven for all the blessings that he has seen fit to give us during this year. Speaking of blessings, Bine Bybee has one more to chalk up for him self. The other day while he was feeding the cattle he slipped and fell from the hay stack. He was lucky not to have broken any bones, but he was pretty well shook up with a sprained back for two or three days. Gee Have you noticed the new Ford Jay Kendell has been driving around, blue, with all the trimmings. Bet he doesn't have to put glue on his door handles. There will be a priesthood excursion at the Salt Iike Temple Satur day Dec 8 lieginning at 5 30. The bishop urges Elders and High Priests to take advantage of this session.
