Scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2004 at 6:30 p.m., the presentation will be given at the GSENM Kanab Visitor Center, located at 745 East Highway 89 in Kanab, UT, and will feature pioneer stories about the trials of forging a new trail in 1879 southern Utah. Sharing history through the eyes of the people who lived it, Hole-in-the-Ro- Grand Staircase-Escalan- ck Na- te tional Monument(GSENM) will Brown continue their mid-da- y Discoverwith Bag programs ing Southern Utah through Oral Histories, presented by Marietta Eaton, Associate Manager for Cultural and Earth Science. The programs will present a compelbng look at the importance of preserving treasured memories and capturing all but forgotten events from present generations for the future.
