All are invited and welcome to join in the work and feel the achievement. So far, there have been 5,258 items delivered to the Sort Cen- ter in St. George for distribution to needy areas worldwide. To name a few of the items made and donated, there have been 1,444 stocking caps, 1015 cro- cheted stuffed balls, 330 pic- ture books for orphanages, 836 full-siz- e sheets, 260 cro- cheted and knitted scarves, 61 crib quilts, and 160 twin- size quilts. Some of the work is done at home. Anyone interested in help- - ing at the Stake Center or at home is invited to stop over on Wednesday morning and get started. You will be glad that you did. What is needed at this time are more workers, more batting, clean blankets, yam and fabric and did I mention more workers? Betty Lynch has been the leader of this operation but she is going to leave us for a while now, when she and her husband serve a mission. Thus, another leader would be nice too! There is training offered! Check out the needed items and please mark your calendar for each Wednesday morning from 9:00 until noon. The more the merrier, and the more help we will be as a community serv- ing people in disaster areas all over the world, If you have questions, please contact Joyce Ross on-the-j- ob - Wj SSs.'. 644-883- 6. r' mv- - X: . ? ,;s.r Wednesday morning workers tying quilts.
