Page picked up three unearned runs in the top of the first inning. Neither team would score again until Fredonia came to bat in the bottom of the third. The Lynx ran all 10 of their runs across the plate in that at bat. Kacey Simmons pitched the fi with a 10-- 4 lead, was the winning pitcher. The Lynx hit two home runs, one in each game. Samantha Hamblin prepared herself for this weekends heptathalon competition at BYU by winning all four events she participated in. Hamblin had three personal records in the meet. She took first place in the high jump, long jump, 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. Hamblin leaped 1611 in the long jump and soared 54 in the high jump.
