Show Fish a n dGa fti e 'to R e c eive The Neighbor Salt Lake County, Utah 7W 5 Wednesday, Teh, 12, 1964 Wildlife Restoration Funds Utahs Department of Fish and Game will receive a total of $409,341.30 for wildlife restoration daring fiscal 1964 following final apportionment of these funds to the states by the U. S. Department of the Interior. The department noted that $319,246.78 of these moneys are to be used for game restoration projects, the balance of $90,094.52 in the fishery field. Funds allocated to the stale a year ago were $271,059.77 for game and $84,865 63 for fish. Upland Game Is Published Publication of a new booklet, Utah Upland Game Birds, has been announced by the Department of Fish and Game. Director Harold S. Crane noted this new booklet is the latest such publication issued to1 better inform the public about the wildlife resources of the state. He said' that to conform with department policy there would be a charge of Qrurnoces & Triangle Group Discusses Land Uses The 'Utah State 'Triangle Committee met td review, discuss and proect programs for the year ahead. Major goal and function of the committee is the improvement of problems arising from hunter use of private lands. The committee was formed several years ago to deal with these problems in private land use, .especially as they ' relate to hunting game birds on agricultural lands. Similar committees carry the prdgram to the local level under guidance state group.
