Farrell Fotherlngham Is In Milford from Woodland, California hunting In Utah and visitingwith the Wally Fotheringhams and other friends and relatives. Jeanette Stoker and daughter Lori Jean Eyre and her son Chad Eyre spent Tuesday afternoon visiting with parents Clair and Helen Gillins. They also visited with Glen and Billie Osborne. Friday afternoon Gary Bingham and Terry Jiminez of Salt Lake came for the weekend and to deer hunt, staying with the Clair Gil- lins. Gene and Vanda Eversole of Las Vegas were visitors at the home of her parents Fred and Hilda OLeary on Tuesday and Wednesday of last week. Beta Upsilon held their monthly social on Wednesday at the home of Madelme Davis. A video machine and movie was rented and everyone enjoyed watchingthe movie. They would like to welcome Carol Beckstead to the group. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Nelson of Black Rock became the proud parents of a baby boy. He was born Friday, October 19 and will be named Elton Paul. Congratulations! Russell Yardley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Yardley, from Las Vegas, has been here for the deer hunt. Also here for the hunt was Troy Hardy and a friend from Provo. Troy is the son of Wayne and Hardy. Clyde Turner from Las Vegas Tom Bradfield, also from Las Vegas, Russell Turner of Cedar and Craig Kirk of Salt Lake City were all here for the hunt. They are all family of Mabel Turner. Also here for the hunt were Howard Sherwood and his son, Robert from American Fork. n, Smith and son Garrett from Phoenix, Arizona were here at the home of Charles and Romona S mith. After discussion, Beaver City approved the application of Kathy Atkin for a Conditional Use Permit for a tanning bed. Beaver City hiredMarcusTwedt Licensed Surveyor, to perform a preliminary survey of one street going north and south and one street going east and west, which would establish center lines of the street. The cost of the survey shall be on a per hour basis. Mr. Craig Davis of the Chamber of Commerce and Mr. David Hahn and Mrs. Betty Miller of the Beaver Travel Council, met with the City Council to discuss the new Beaver City North Interchange sign. A new rendering was presented from Young Electric Sign. After discussion, it was the consensus of the City Council that David Hahn should meet with Mr. Record to implement the changes proposed. Mr. Kim Davis met withtheCity Council to discuss the moratorium on issuing building permits on the property located at 1st South and east of 5th East. Mr. Davis reported that Mr. Garth Bakes is willing to put In the main sewer line to the house Mr. Davis wishes to build. After installation, Mr. Bakes will come to the City Council and try and negotiate the cost with the City Council. Mr. Davis requested Beaver City lift the moratorium so that he can place the foundation before cold weather. Mr. Davis wants to build this house before the main sewer line is installed because of the high water table which will limit installation of the sewer line for approximately two months until the water level drops. Mr. Davis requested Beaver City allow the main sewer line be installed between 7 and 8 feet in depth. After disrussion. Councilman Messinger moved a building perm it may be issued to Kim Davis after a cashiers check is in the possession of Beaver City in the amount of the total contract for installation of the main sewer line from 5th East to in front of the house Mr. Davis is building.
