We had a great time during homecoming and we will remember it for a long time. During the week of October 8th it was the UEA in Salt Lake City and the students enjoyed a short week. On Tuesday the JV football team hosted the Cedar JV. The Beavers played a tough game but Cedar toppled them. On Wednesday the Beaver Varsity traveled to American Fork to play American Fork JV. The Beavers played a good game and came out on top This week on Tuesday, the JV football teams hosted Plneview JV at 4:00 p.m. The Snow College FFA contest will be held also. On Volleyball Wednesday the team hosted Kanab at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday the Beavers travel to Milford for their last region football game at 7:30 p.m. Your Right to Know NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY FOR RECREATIONAL STUDY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County CommisCounty, State of Utah, has called an election for the qualified electors residing in Beaver County Special Service District No. 4 to vote on the question of whether or not said Board of County Commissioners may l:vy an annual tax on all taxable property within said Service District, for a period of not to exceed two years, for the purpose of funding a study as to the feasibility, types and estimated costs of recreational facilities needed within said Service District. If authorized by said election, said tax would be levied in such amount as said Board of County Commissioners annually determines up to but not exceeding a maximum limit of one mill on each dollar of assessed value within said Service District, for a per -iod of not to exceed two years, sioners of Beaver pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 23 of Title n, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, known and cited as the Utah Special Service District Act, to be collected in the same manner as other county property taxes. Said election will be held on Tuesday, the 6th day of November, 1984, in connection with the State of Utah general election to be held on that day, and voting will be done during the same hours and at the same polling places within said Service District as said general election, and qualification of voters shall be the same as for said general election. We all had a lot of fun decorating windows and floats. The Seniors won the window decorating contest; the 7th grade took second and the 8th grade third. In the float decorating competition, the mighty Seniors won another first, the 11th grade took second and 9th grade came in third. On Thursday night the Cheerleaders did a great job with the Bon Fire pep assembly. Everyone had a really great time and got excited for the game.
