Show MILFORD IN MOTION f Visiting at the home of Jane and Clinton Myers were their daughter Hilda and her husband Darwin, and their granddaughter Kathy and her children Jenny, Monica and Jesse. Johann and Rae Meyer got their fourth grandson and twelth grandchild on May 31. He was born to their daughter and Oscar and Jana Ramirez in Provo. He was named Robert RoyRamirez. Ray and Ellen Baker of Escondido, Calif, have become regular visitors to Milford the past month on their way from their summer home in Beaver to visit their children and grandchildren in Hinckley. Ray had th pleasure of visiting with his former employer BertWy-naug- ht at the Milford Hospital on Memorial Day. They are impressed with the prosperous farms and well kept homes and parks in and around Milford. A real spirit of personal and civic pride is evident according to Ray. Norman and Madeline Davis have lust returned from vacation. They traveled to Reno, Nevada, then to Bridgeport, Calif, then on to Yose-mit- e. Their daughter, Mauritia, in California and their duagh-tstayed Jennifer stayed in Reno for a weeks visit. Girls softball is well under way. Their games are on Tuesday and Friday at the softball field north of the high school. They invite everyone to come and watch their games. Ramone Smith recently returned from a short visit in St. George with her daughter Louise Truman. Visiting at the home of Gene and Patsy Johnson are nieces April Fowles, Dani and Sunny Fowles all from Las Vegas and granddaughters Amber and Angie Berger from Salt lake. Nora Wright and On Saturday, Nona and Lorraine Glllins traveled to St. George for the wedding of Noras grandson Bud Wright. Bud is the son of Fred Wright and Arlene Prince. Mr. and Mrs. Don Barton learned this week that they are the grandparents of a new grandson, Dion Tyler, son of Ida Rae and Todd Munk of St. George. The little low was born on June 7th at Dixie Medical Center and weighed seven pounds fourteen ounces. Bert was born in Nova Scotia and moved to Milford in 1014. He has been active in many civic organizations, owned several businesses, and was a community leader for many years. After his wife passed away in 1959 his daughter Alice Van Horn moved in with him when her husband died in 1969. He has been in the geriatrics ward for approximately three years, but his mind is still sharp, and he gets around with the aid of a walker or wheel chair. Bert is the oldest man in the county. Arts Council plans summer entertainment By NATHAN JOSEPH The Beaver Civic Arts Council has planned and announced their upcoming season for the summer of 1984. Themed Something for the Arts Council has Everyone, of musicals, planned a summer plays, concerts, and other presentations that is sure to have something for everyone. The 1984 season will begin with the show Youre A g The Good Man, Charlie Brown. musical, which follows a day In the life of Charlie Brown and the Pea-nugang, will be presented by some of the talented teenagers of Beaver. It will be directed by Linda Robinson. Kathy Riley is accompanist and musical director. It will play July 7 at 8:00 p.m. in the Old Courthouse in Beaver. The youth of Beaver county will also be featured in the second event Salute to Youth, of the season, the annual evening of talent spotlighting the youth of today and their talents.
