Show MILFORD IN MOTION CALL 387-23- 31 J If youve gone into Trail -side lately youve no doubt noticed new faces cheerfully greeting you at the checkout counter. Thats because Trailsidehas recently hired a new manager, as well as new clerks. Dina Ashworth has been hired as manager. We dont know the names of all the clerks, but well learn them soon, Im sure. On Saturday, March 3, the Brownies of Milford enjoyed a day of roller skating in Cedar City. Under the watchful eyes of Adrianne Whittaker, Ruth Smith, Randee Mellor and Sherrie Yardley the following girls enjoyed three hours of skating before stopping at McDonalds to eat: Michaela Yardley, Kylee Amber Cassell, Hailey Bailey, Smith, Heather Cox, Stacy Memmott Ginny Acklln and Lacy Setters - 1st year Brownies; Malina Mellor, Kerri Maxey, Kim Rose, Brandie Barnes, Shan Holm, Jennifer Forman, Cynthia Thompson and Jeri-ly- n Mayer - 2nd year Brownies; and, 3rd year Brownies - Ashley Seifers, LaRetta Pectol, Stacy Whi- ttaker, Kerensa Coon, Heather Holm, Amber Hardy, Jennifer Hardy and Kimberly Myers. Its reported that a really good time was had by all who went. Lacy Seifers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Seifers was released from the hospital last week after a short stay. Well, I guess as long as the weather stays cold Milford will be troubled with all kinds of illnesses, and this past weekend was no exception. I was told that before 1:00 p.m. Sunday ten(10) people had made a trip to the hospital for out patient shots. Roger and Gillian Hatch are now enjoying their new home on 600 South. Wednesday afternoon Fred and Hilda OLeary had the pleasure of having former neighbors Jess and Louise Long of Orem, and friends of the Longs, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd 1 l, 33 SHOW AND TELL: Milford Elementary youngsters sang and performed for other students and parents on Monday morning, to show how the new music program was progressing. Miss Bobbi Gonzalez P. George call on them. Mr. George is the regional representative for the LDS Church in this area and he was on his way to Minersvllle to attend meetings that night. Other visitors from out of town at the home of the OLearys during the month of February were Fred's sister Sophie Bruno and her son Glendon Cloward of Mo roni, Utah and Marie Heslington of Simi Valley, California. Mr. and Mrs. Lovell Crane spent the weekend in Monroe visiting a Mr. and daughter and Mrs. Morris Nellsen and family. son-in-la- w, While there they attended the Golden anniversary reception for Mrs. Lorrln Hutchings in Wedding Mr. and Richfield. has been handling the music program A since the beginning of the semester. Whitney Barnes and son Dayne, of Caliente, Nevada, drove to Milford Wednesday, to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Patterson and other family members and friends, including grandmother Flo Barnes who was in the hospital. Whitneys husband David, came to Milford Thursday night, following his Grandmother Barnes death. He was able to attend the Round Robin at Kanab with the aid of crutches, along with his mother and sister, and Sally and Ron Rose. Mr. Johann Meyer spent the past weekend Mr. to In Provo with his family. Mrs. Lyman Short drove Idaho Friday after receiving word and of the death of Lyman's father. We saw many friends and enjoying lunch and dinner at the new Station Restaurant, which opened for business Friday. Mr James E. Grasse, of Star Valley, Iaaho, was in Milford recently to attend the funeral of his brother-in-laLeo W. Harton.Mr. Grasse Is a brother to Marjorie Harton. Mrs. Bonnie Williams joined her husband DuWayne in Salt Lake City this past weekend for the special occasion of blessing a new grandson. The little lad, Trevor Ryan, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Casey Williams on February 11. He has two older brothers, Ian and Blake. Brother Blake also celebrates his birthday on February 11. Miss Jana Corbridge, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Merryweather, graduated from Evans Hairstyling College in Cedar City this past January. Grandmother Merlin Merryweather accompanied her to Salt Lake City on February 27 and served as Janas model, when she took her state board exams. Jana is currently living in Salt Lake City with Zelda and Mary Coon and is now employed at Command Performance Hairstyling Salon.
