Joe and Helen Duffy recently traveled to Boise, Idaho to attend the wedding and reception of a family friends son. This past weekend the Duffys son, Chris, was home for a visit. Curtis and Rose Williams and daughter Brandy of Provo were here visiting relatives over the weekend. Rose is the niece of John and Betty While here they stayed Jiminez. at the home of Jerry and Cathy Jiminez. Saturday night, Jerry and Cathy hosted a family dinner at their house. Several people in Milford have celebrated birthdays recently. 19, Mabel Sunday, February Turner celebrated her birthday with a lovely dinner at daughter Pat Davis home. Celebrating his 12th birthday, Monday February 20, was Travis Sellers, son of Ted and Brenda a long week at Primary Childrens Hospital in SLC, Kerri home with her Maxey returned family Saturday evening. Her mother, Mary reports shell be out of school this week, but will return next. Were happy to note that after all shes been through this past week Kerri still has that cute little smile and giggle of hers. Welcome home, Kerri were glad 387-23- 81 youre back and doing so well. After a short visit to Milford Valley Memorial Hospital, little Jeremy Schow Is now home and doing better. Jeremy is the son of Mikel and Gay Schow. Visiting at the home of Pearl Tolley recently were her sisters Grace Humber of Maycomb, Illinois and Sid and Adelle Bartlett of Pocatello, Idaho. While here they all traveled to Bloomington to visit a brother, Glen and Beth Exum. This past weekend Kay Thornley, a daughter of Pearl Tolleys, and her son Jeffery from Sandy, came to spend a couple of days. Editor Red Wilson spent a few days in St. George last week attending the statewide Utah Press Association convention. Students at Milford Elementary and Milford High School, as well as employees of several businesses in town, enjoyed a day off Monday Selfers. Cody Smith, son of Richard and Sally Smith celebrated his 8th birthday also on Monday, February 20. James and Linda Stewart are moving back to Milford. They have been living in Hiawatha. They are currently staying at the home of James mother, Irene Stewart. Iva and Madeline Davis enjoyed a trip to Cedar Saturday to do some shopping. Later in the day, husbands Norm and Nolan joined them and they all enjoyed dinner and a movie before returning home. Visiting at the home of Kent and Randee Mellor this past weekend were Randee s parents, Bill and Verniece Warren. Saturday, February 18 Veda Cox, Ray and Charlotte Whiting of Milford andDan Brown ofMiners-vill- e, traveled to Cedar City to help teach and participate in an EMT course taught at SUSC. On Tuesday, employees at the Geothermal site at Roosevelt Hot started a First ResSprings course, taught by the ponder EMTs. The course is designed to teach "What to do until the ambulance arrives. Enjoying a pot luck dinner and Bonco party Saturday night were JOT members. Approximately 30 people attended the activity, held In the Old Timers Clubhouse. Its reported that the JOTs have recently reorganized and now have monthly committees to plan activities. They plan to hold one activity each month. Memberships are now being sold, both for regular memberships (those working for the railroad) and social member ships (those not working for the railroad). The JOTs emphasize that everybody can participate and enjoy these activities, whether they work for the railroad or not. Also visited with Waldo Yardley. On Sunday Glenn and Billie returned to Beaver to visit Vie and Waldo. Maurine and Duane Yard-le- y are also helping mother and dad Yardley. A daughter, Ila Williams of Para-gonis helping out as well. Pat Sullivan, daughter of Gary and Janice Sullivan was home from college visiting for a couple of days.
