Where did we ever get die idea that PTA is synonymous with PTA meetings? There is nothing in PTA purposes, objectives or .policies that I know of whiclT indicates" that ; there must be four, or three.- or even one meeting a year. I want to propose that we abolish PTA meetings as they traditionally exist; as they are generally conceived. 1 propose that we start afresh with a totally new look at the means we use to accomplish our work. Now, I know that meetings can be a valuable tool for imparting Information and for aiscussing problems and approving actions. But lets not hold meetings just to be holding meetings. Lets be certain the meetings we hold have a purpose; that the purpose is clear to those invited to attend; that only those having an Interest in the agenda are urged to attend.
