From far and near came Granitians to celebrate the first reunion since they poured out the doors of Granite High School in 1940, 25 years ago. The theme of the reunion was "Farmers Harvest" and everything was decorated accordingly. When the old cow bell was sounded, everyone knew it was "chow time and assembled downstairs to the study hall to enjoy a delicious dinner. After dinner, Leo Barlow, former senior class president, greeted the alumni, he introduced Leland Bird, new High principal of Granite School who in retired principal Mr. Tho rum's absence spoke a few words. Church Vacation School Underway Children of the Vacation Bible School at Immanuel Christian Reform Church, 4552 Holladay Blvd., will participate in a program Thursday, July 1, at 7:30 P.M. on the church grounds to climax activities of the school. The program will feature lessons and projects that characterize the school, exhibited in numbers by the diftwo-we- ek ferent classes. Classes have been taught by eight teachers from Michigan, forming a SWIM (Summer Workshop In Missions) program. The teachers will be in the Holladay area for a total of five weeks and will spend the remainder of their time visiting homes and presenting the Gospel.
