Mrs. Cory De Mille, guest speaker, spoke to the group on "The Role of Mrs. De the Jaycee Wife. Mille woo the,' Speak Up trophy at the State Convention held earlier this year eMoab. The three past Jay cee-et- te presidents who were available to attend on the occasion of their recognition were Mrs. Tony Debeveti, Mrs. Arthur Mrs . Dee Holloway, and Baxter The three ladies and Mrs. De Mille were presented with carnation corsages Mrs. Robert Rains presided over the luncheon. Mrs. Dee Baxter was recipient of the scrapbook which was presented by the Historian, Mrs . Ann Holloway, to the immediate past president at the annual luncheon. The scrapbook contains all notices and details of the year in which she served, consisting of the projects meetings, parties, socials, and pictures. Depicting the accomplishments of the East Mill the scrapCreek Jaycee-ette- s, book was judged at the Moab Convention by the Colorado Jaycees as being the most outstanding in Division No. 2. The award was given by the point system and the plaque was on display at the luncheon. In charge of this year's luncheon was Mrs. Rosalie Morris, a past president, but who was unable to attend the due to a death in the family.
