High at the annual Girls and Boys Staff to be held at the Utah State University this summer. Mary Ellen Stewart and Ann Simmons are the girls selected as delegates. The alternates are Claudia Porter and Marcia Ann Nielson. George Taylor, Jed Christensen, Dick Thomas, Paul Denham and Paul Van Wagenen will go as boy delegates. David Clark and Francis Rogers are the alternates. The purpose of the meet is to educate the delegates in the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship. They form a mythical state with all the duly elected offices and carry out the functions followed in actual state government. The delegates are chosen on the basis of leadership, character and scholastic ability. |
