The committee members voiced their displeasure with city officials at a recent city council meeting. Were trying to make them responsible to get our improvements done, Burton said. They gave our money away and now should make good on it. Burton said his committee is arranging a meeting with the mayor to try and resolve the matter. Needed improvements in the e subdivision current include repairs to the street, upgrading a sidewalk and building fences. One home is currently under construction and other property has been purchased by potential homebuilders. The council has issued a freeze on further building permits until the improvements are made. Burton said the subdivision sidewalks are starting to crack and form a potential hazard to children riding bikes. He said city residents should blame any possible tax increases to cover the cost of the improvements on city officials and not on the subdivision. They dont want to talk solutions, but just want to get mad, e says Bouchard. A city offical donating thousands of hours of work is not completely responsible for everything. Unfortunately for ; South Weber city officials and ; subdivision residents, the bond expired and Krantz has since gone out of business. South Weber Dr., "Aug. 5 after a police stakeout. ; Ogden Police Lt. Charles Buz- ick said Feustel was booked on "attempted homicide charges for allegedly trying to run down Det. Jeff Cottam with a car. Buzick said when detectives at tempted to arrest Feustel, he swerved his car at Cottam, hitting him. Cottam was not injured in the incident. Feustel was booked in the Weber County Jail in Ogden 'on criminal homicide charges. He is accused of the bludgeioning death of Michael Vickers, 17, of 2664 Adams, Ogden. No .bail , was set.
