The city champion was Lincoln II coached by Matt Murphy, They defeated a fine Crestview I team coached by Terry Coburn. Year Old Minor League This was a different year in Laytons Minor League because ;;the league went to a new con 9-- cept. A pitching machine was used in place of a pitcher.
