South Weber Mayor Rex Bouchard said Stark had indicated to him he was interested ip running for the City Council in November. According to Bouchard, this willingness to serve again was a major factor in his appointment. Stark said it f It good to be back on the council and he would most likely run for a four-yeaNovember. Roy Library Needs Anniversary Week Luncheon Specials donations for Sale !ROY The Southwest Branch Library in Roy is conducting a book drive for the dbrarys sale during Roy Days, librarian Nancy Martinez said hardback and paperback books are needed. Donations for the Roy Days sale will be accepted through Aug. 10. Proceeds will be used for the addiplanned tion to the Southwest Branch. Numerous fund raising efforts directed at area residents and civic organizations are under fray. The addition will cost $150,000, excluding labor, which frill tentatively be donated by Roy High School students. Included in expansion plans are a new childrens area and public meeting rooms. ot H Childrens librarian Diedre Conkling said young people may still sign up for the summer Reading club. The theme this year is Theres an Animal in my Book. ' Members of the reading club decide how many books they want to read during the summer months. Their progress is charted on a colorful poster in the childrens area of the library.
