Show lakeside Pair to Note Anniversary Review North, Wednesday, June 15, 1983 7C CLEARFIELD The sons and daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Bert) Rawlings of 1011 E. 700 S., Clearfield, will honor their parents on their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception to be held at the Ogden Hilton Hotel, Sunday June 19, from 6 until 8 that evening. All family and friends are invited. The family request no gifts. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 19, 1933. Rawlings, a son of Albert and Flora Jinks Rawlings, was born in Burmingham, England. In : 1914, the family moved to Clearfield. He was reared in Clear- "' field and educated in the Davis County Schools. He was general superinten dent of Smith Canning Co., Clearfield, at the time of. its closing. He helped open the Ogden ZCMI store as building engineer and retired in December, 1976, after 10 years of I A.. ' h ' ' service. Mrs. Rawlings was born in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Carl J. and Rena Schelling VanZweden. She was reared in Ogden and educated in the Ogden City Schools. She owned and operated the Rawlings Floral in Clearfield for a number of years and later beicame head floral designer for Miller Floral Company, Farmington, retiring in 1972. Both have been active in the LDS Church. Rawlings has served in the MIA and various priesthood quorums and is currently serving in the Clearfield 4th Ward High Priest Quorum. Mrs. Rawlings has served in the Primary, Sunday school and AND MRS. ALBERT RAWLINGS (Charlene) Hamblin, Kaysville; Mrs. Monroe (Judy) Hiatt, San Diego, Calif.; Kenneth D. Rawlings, Layton. They have 16 grandchildren and two MIA. They are the parents of five children: Donald C. Rawlings, Loveland, Colo.; Mrs. Will (Carol Jean) Crites, Walnut Creek, Calif.; Mrs. Duane n. Kaysville Teen Finalist Liisa Jensena Leavitt, 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald V. Leavitt of Kaysville, has been selected as a state finalist in the 1983 Miss United Teen-Age- r Pageant to be held at Utah State University in Logan at 7 :30 p.m. on July 3. The pageant is the state-wid- e finals for the Miss United Teen- Ager Pageant. Contestants will be judged on scholastic and civic achievements, beauty, poise and personality. No swimsuit Hawaii, to include air fare, lodging, tours. She will compete in the national finals for $15,000 KAYSVILLE competition or talent is LIISA J. LEAVITT involved. The winner of the state finals will receive a trip to Hollywood, Calif., and Waikiki Beach, in scholarships, $2,000 wardrobe, a new automobile for the reigning year, $3,000 appearance contract and other prizes.
