They currently pay $2 per month. The proposed new rate is , $5.77. The three subdivisions are part of a special service district formed in 1981 to pay for direct costs generated by their use of sanitary sewer lift stations. Fox Glen, Aland of Honey and Herefordshire are located in 1l.ow lying geographic areas which sit below main sewer trunk lines. Their sewage has to be pumped up into the main ; lines by use of sewer lift sta- tions. The monthly lift fee cov-- J ers expenses such as mainte-- ; nance, depreciation, v monthly fees. When the special service district was formed, the four subdivisions had a legal right to protest formation of the district. Park Lane residents presented a petition signed by of the homeowners SEN.
