Joseph Krajnc Jr., former Helper resident, died Dec. 15, 1981, at his home here. He was bom Dec. 28, 1915, in Oak View, Colo., to Joseph and Frederich Schafer Krajnc. He was a former employee of Progressive Market in Helper and a member of the Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Julia Hamilton, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Marion Wallace, Granada Hills, Calif.; Mrs. Val (Frances) Turn, Mrs. Anna Picco, both of Helper; Mrs. Edward (Isabelle) Lake,1 Malan, N.M. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial was to be held at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Anthonys Catholic Church. Holy rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. prior to mass. Friends may call at Mitchell Funeral Home prior to services. Graveside prayers will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Price City Cemetery. She was bom Nov. 18, 1902, in San Giovanni, Italy, to Saverio and Rosa Belcastro Nicolavo. She married Louis G. Santi in 1919. He died in 1937. She raised a family of four children, Rose, Joe, Albert and Victor Santi. Survivors include four grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; a brother, Sam Nicolavo; sisters, Mrs. Sam (Teresa) Spatafore and Mrs. Mary Bruno. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at noon Saturday at Notre Dame De Lourdes Catholic Church.
