CATTLEMEN TO MEET AT DENVER will confer i the lund leasing bill and oti er mutters 0 interest the american cattle growers asso elation composed of lead ng cattlemen of the west will meet in denver march ath to discuss theland leasing question the association no v having a bill pend ing before congress ahe basis of representation in this association is ind vidual membership and any gro ver or breeder of cattle or the managing officer of any corporation engaged in the glow ng or breeding of cattle is eligible to membership upon the payment of an on fee of 5 the pro gramme will be limited to a few set subjects or papers it being the purpose of the convention to confine the proceedings to open debate and ar aument on tl e part of the members after the presentac presen tat on of each subject or paper sufficient time will be given for the members to discuss the same in five n ante speeches the convention will be wholly in the hands of its members and ample time will be given for the discussion of all subjects presented many matters of interest to cattle men of the west will be introduced one of the most important of which is the land leasing bill now in congress prepared by a committe appointed for that purpose by the associate on at its last annual meeting the disease of cattle and tl air fremed es will also come up for d scission and papers will be presented by the most able men in the country on the best mode of feed ing and fatten ng cattle for market in the and reg ons of the wet where but little grain is raised
