Walsh explained the aborigines are hunters and gatherers whose lifestyle hasnt changed for thousands of years. Time doesnt mean anything to them. They take the attitude that if something doesnt happen today, it will probably happen tomorrow. If it doesnt happen tomorrow, it will for sure next month," he said. The rock art is made for several reasons. Foremost is to ensure the success of the resources they exploit. "They have special ceremonies and they paint the rock art to ensure the maintenance of the food species, Walsh said. He said the act of creating the panels and their locations are important. The myths that have been handed down for thousands of years contain vital information about the countryside. Walsh explained if a drought should hit, the myths contain information concerning what springs dry up first and which ones keep water longest. Their myths contain a lot of sex and violence because thats what the people remember. As they repeat the myths, it helps them remember the other vital information, he h iu - GUARANTEED LOWER PRICES ' BETTER WARRANTY Roadhazard Replacement FREE Reptocement for Defects FREE FREE Flat Reoar FREE Wearwar. 40,000 to 60,000 Miles FREE Rebalance & Rotation Cooper Nationwide Warranty (Ask For Details) Australian rock art officials have been very successful in dating and analyzing the 9.50R16.5LT LT22575R18 LT21585R18 LT23585R18 RAISED OUR FULL LINE NOT JUST A FEW LEADERS Season Ply 8 8 8 8 31X10.50R15LT 31X11.50R15LT 33x12. 50R15LT 898.96 $97.01 $104.45 $78.85 $88.40 $91.18 $111.30 $115.37 $92.77 ( $104.27 9 $110.83 6 $121.43 60,000 Mi.
