Bell, son of Blake and Faye Bell of West Jordan City, has attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of Troop No. 1045 with Ken Newman of the Prairie 2nd ward as his Scoutmaster. Scott has earned 21 Merit badges and for his service project had a community neighborhood watch meeting at the local elementary school to introduce the Neighborhood Watch program. He is the grandson of Keith and , Rachell Baxter of Salt Lake and Milton and Dorene Bell of Grantsville. He joins his uncle, Tom Baxter, and cousin Sean Baxter in the Eagle ranks. Scott is a student at Thomas Jefferson jr. high and has been actively involved with the Kearns Youth Football league. He has been a Deacon Quorum president and has earned his On My Honor award. Scott and Jeff Ertmann are the first two scouts to become Eagles in the entire Prairie Stake. He is Green Sheet carrier for his area. Jeffery Ertmann, son of Mike and Ardis Ertmann of West Jordan, has attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of Troop No. 1045 with Ken Newman of the Prairie 2nd ward as his Scoutmaster. Jeff has earned 21 Merit badges and for his service project he entered a tree in the Festival of Trees dedicated to Desiree Boynton and Joseph Richards, his cousins who have been treated at Primary Childrens Hospital. he is the grandson of Muray and Berniss Anderson, West Jordan, and Jack and Millie Ertmann of' - Ocean Side, California. His uncles Allen and Arlin Anderson and both grandfathers have received their Eagles. Jeff is a student at Jefferson jr. high where he is on the high citizenship honor roll and was a patriot of the month in November 1987. He is currently serving as 2nd counselor in the Deacons Quorum. Jeff and Scott Bell are the first two Eagles in the West Jordan Prairie Stake. He is a carrier for the Green Sheet Newspapers. Philip Hartwell, son of Ramon and Sheila Hartwell of West Valley City, will graduate on June 4 on the high honor roll from Lookifif for I has recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He has earned 25 Merit badges and for his service project he earned money by doing yardwork and with the money he purchased game and puzzle books for at Pioneer Valley patients hospital.
