Over the stretch from Saturday through Tuesday, Kearns highs baseball team piled up three big wins in play, first edging visiting VTeber on Saturday 1 then winning at Clearfield 1 2 Monday anu at Davis Tuesday in Davis Tournament action. The Cougars were scheduled to wrap up the tournament at Ogden on either Wednesday or Thursday of this week, weather being the determining factor. Region Three action is set to get under way Tuesday with Kearns at Olympus pre-leag- 2-- 7-- 7-- 4 at 3:30 p.m. Kearns 7, Davis 4 Kearns, to according Coach Lany Hatch, ran the bases well against Davis Tuesday and "took advantage of some extra base situations."
