Upon the death of her husband, Chris Paras on December 18, 1983, Jody could have chosen to close the doors of the family business, "Chris and Dicks" or turned it over to others, but she and her son, Dick, did neither. She is one determined woman . . with her own ideas of what be should done in any . circumstance . . . and their decision of keeping on, just as if her husband, Chris, were still there, is typical of her and her life long decisions.
