Well, here it is Tuesday, three days before the Great One and Ill bet there are dozens of you in the very same boat that I am. You want a few sweet goodies for Christmas Day and somehow just havent had the time to make them yet. Well, for you and you and you and you, here are three recipes you can toss off in seconds and then be able to offer your guests something yummy to piece on. The first one is some kind of a cookiecandy concoction. I wouldnt know which part of my recipe box to place it, so I just put it under 'Good". In a large dripper pan (possibly 10x15) put a quarter pound of margarine and let melt in a 350 degree oven. Remove from oven. Meanwhile, get out your blender or rolling pin and reduce either graham crackers or vanilla wafers to crumbs and put a nice, (about 114 inch) layer of them right over the melted margarine. Pour one can Eagle Brand Condensed milk (NOT just plain canned milk) over the crumbs. Sprinkle then with chocolate chips, coconut, nuts or whatever such goodies you have. Bake until it gently bubbles, take from oven and cool. It breaks up in nice bite size pieces. "???????" Another quickie that will bring praises from nibblers starts with a can of refrigerated crescent A wedding breakfast will follow the ceremony in Rexburg, Idaho.
