The program for gifted and talented has been in force in Granite district elementary schools for some time, but is new this year at the high school level, said Johnson. The group is learning how to take notes that will be of value to them, how to prepare for tests and how to stimulate memory, he said. Plans include visits to cultural events, including ballet, symphony and plays. As the students become more aware of their own potential KHS and their goals, discussions will include goal setting, individual career goals, and the program will include designed to assist each student in their individual goals and programs, the teacher mini-course- s, 'Within These Walls' Staged Next Week In West Stake To Be BENNION.
