Girls enrolled in the occupational house interor design class at Kearns high will be waiting for comments as visitors begin today (Thursday) to tour a house built by Kearns students at 5264 Hoopes Cir. The 10 girls have been responsible for all interior decorating, said teacher Teresa Miller. They have studied the elements of design, color coordin- ation, quality, and have been able during this semester to put those studies to work, she said. The girls have visited model homes in the area to get ideas, have visited many stores to compare quality and prices and have worked together to achieve a total look for the home, she added. Drapes, linoleum, tile and flooring were all selected by the girls, who also chose the carpeting and The open house was timed to coincide with the annual Cougar Fair which will be held tonight at the school, the teacher explained. Visitors may tour the home from 4 to 9 p.m. today. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday and again on Monday, said Mrs. Miller.
