Eleven students at Eisenhower junior high earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the second term. They include seventh graders Denice Bills, Brad Dillon, Shannon Guy and Jay Powell; eighth grade students Jeannine Ellis and Thomas Schneider and from the ninth grade, Liz Birkholz, Krista Broderick, Marjean David, Lesli Fellows and Stacy Sorensen. Those with 3.75 and higher from seventh grade were Sharlet Abarr, Melony Butler, Gene Justice, David Owen, Keith Kingsbury, Deborah Owen, Kristine Zdunich, Nanette Allred, Teresa Gerber, Charlene Goodsell, Melinda Gray. Other seventh graders are Scott Olson, Shaun Stauffer, Jay Bessey, Tere sa Cutler, Richard Hart, Tracy Sudoko, Karen Faison, Kristie Hoppe, Jenny Lofgren and David Moore. Writing creatively is one of the goals of members of the Granger high yearbook staff, The Shield, this year. It has helped me in interviewing, in asking revealed questions, Jennifer Schmuhl, this years copy editor. She noted it has been a in good experience that she has been able to gain more confidenceinwriting. The staff is preparing the 24th edition of the book using the theme The Time Is Now. The introduction and ending of the book employ Kevin Sudoko. Road Conditions Broadcast On CB SALT LAKE. The Utah Department of Transportation broadcasts information about road conditions over citizen band radio channels on a daily basis. The information, updated every two hours, is broadcast over Channels 9, 13 and 19 when the need arises. Road closures due to calamities, weather or accidents are noted. After being closed for the holiday weekend, the immunization and blood pressure clinics w ill resume and Ruby Stokes.
