Clarence was born in Eureka, Utah on August 12th, 1899. Hazel was born in Salt Lake on May 5th, 1901. Clarence and Hazel began their life together after meeting while working together at the J.G. McDonald Candy Company in the parrot-stick candy department, where Clarence started when he was only 16. Clarence later worked for the Sweet Candy Company, Brig Lindsay & Cullen Candy company and later worked for the U.S. Smelting where he remained a foreman for 30 years. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pierson Double-Rin- g Rites Unite Mall. Both Clarence and Hazel enjoy gardening and fishing. They often remember the early days of their marriage when they would fish in V.
