A Magna Water and Sewer Im- provement District policy requiring individual units to have individual service connections again came under fire last week as another mobile home developer challenged the boards right to have an extension agreement that would be fair to all its customers. Harold Haight of Haight Investment, who is seeking to develop a mobile home park at 8400 W. 3900 South claimed that he was unable to sign the districts extension agreement because in his eyes it was discriminatory. Haight said that his main concern is that the district was asking for an easement to service the lines within the park which would be the property of the improvement district. He stated that all he needed was to have one connection to the sewer and another for water and he would collect the fees from his tenants, as well as service his own lines. However the board took issue with this proposal, pointing out that it is a necessity that the company own and service all its own lines, further noting that all the other developers but one had signed the agreement without any qualms. We have only one such arrangement within this district, Dick Morris, board chairman, said, and it has been nothing but trouble ever since.
