Show D2 DAILY UTAH VALLEY DAILY DIGEST American Red Cross looking for volunteers he Mountain Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross is making preparations to house a response center, andis looking for volunteers. The centerwill havefive to six call stations and will be located in the lowerlevel of the chapter office at 865 N. Freedom Blvd., in Provo. Training for supervisors and call operators will begin shortly. The call operator volunteers will go through a 60-90 minute training session. Duringa disaster, the center will be in operation 12-16 hours a day. The center should be operational before hurricane Season begins in July. The calls are distributed to one of several response centers across the country.
