The first one, for Fancy Grahams, is from Mary Lafon., The second one, I tasted at a recent PTA meeting, is the indoor version of S’mores, those campfire treats combining graham crackers, chocolate bars and marshmallows. Fold in: % c. whole wheatflour Cut waxed paper to fit cookie sheet. Grease of waxed paper andsides of pan well. Pour batter on sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes. Turn out on a dish towel covered with powdered sugar. Roll with towel inside for a few minutes. Fill with cooled lemon pudding and serve with cream. Refrigerate 30 minutes, or until firm. Form into heart shape on serving platter; garnish with almonds. Serve with crackers. Makes about 2 cups. accompaniment. ZESTY BEEF DIP HEART 0’ GOLD % pound ground beef CHEESE SPREAD 1 envelope (1'4-0z.) taco 1 package (8-0z.) cream seasoning mix cheese, softened 1 can (6-02.) tomato paste 1/3 cup water 3 tablespoons chopped green pepper Corn chips or taco seasoned chips Brownbeef in mediumsize saucepan or chafing dish, stirring to crumble; pour off excess fat. Add contents of seasoning mix envelope, tomato paste, water and green pepper. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Serve hot with chips for dipping. Margarine and chocolatebits just to boiling in a 3-quart saucepan, stirring constantly; Temove from heat. Add vanilla. Pour over cereal in large mixing bowl; toss quickly until comPletely coated with chocolate. Fold in marshmallows,a cup at a time. Press mixture evenly in pan with buttered back of spoon. Let stand until firm,at least 1 hour. Cut into about 1%2inch squares. Makes about 48. NOTE: In a recent recipe for Watermelon Marmalade, one paper at least said to boil for 24 hours.
