The students, all members of the BYU student chapter of the association, will attend presentations, study exhibits and meet general contractors at the convention, one of the largest in the world dealing with the construction industry. The festival is intended as a “hands-on” experience where children can have quality instruction and personal participation providing creative opportunities through art. music crafts, literature, and dance, according to JoAnn Henstra, Orem City Board of Managers PTA. Youth will have an opPortunity to create original works of literature, music art, Henstra said. Sponsored by the National PTA, the contestis currently taking place in city schools.
