Editor That old busybody Harriett Oleson and her snobby daughter, Nellie, were in their best form last week when Walnut Grovegotits first telephone on “‘Little House on the Prairie.” The huffy old bat owned the franchise and operated the switchboard in the little town. This gave her access to all the latest gossip and made her the most knuwledgeable newsmonger in the community. Mrs. Oleson eavesdropped on a conversation between Alice Garvey and her mother. To her delight, she learned that Alice had been married to a gambler who landed in prison — all without Jonathan Garvey knowing. The frittering old crow screamed for Nellie to come quick, and Nellie couldn't wait to tell Garvey'slittle boy — in her usual parvenu Ole manner. ae leetelyafideters the ladies, ‘i y ol y gata ot birdingR irs.
