Sunday, September 2. 1979 State Energy Conference Planned Sept. 11 at ‘U’ State officials and Universityof Utah researchers will review energy conservation and development programs Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the third annual State Energy Conference The public is invited to the one-day conferencein the Social and Behavioral Science Building Auditorium. It is sponsored by the Utah Engineering ExperimentStation and the colleges of engineering and mines and mineral industries. Discussion topics will include energy consumption and conservation in Uta! and developmentof tar sands,oilshale, coz! and uranium. Workshops will be held Sept. 12-14 on energy conservation Suggestions aimed at commercial, religious organiza- tions.
