It is requested that gifts be omitted. Mrs. Davis was born April 10, 1899 in Bountiful, Utah, a daughter of William O. and Eliza Jane Kynaston Thur-gooShe has lived most of her life in Davis County. J THE BRIDE is a daughter "of Bishop and Mrs. Richard C: Fagg, 352 South Stirling Fruit Heights. - Parents of the groom are Drive, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Collier of 1177 East Green Road, Fruit Heights. - ft FOLLOWING THE wedding i'the couple was honored at a s iwedding breakfast at Cove Restaurant in Bountiful hosted by the Brat-ften- grooms parents. That evening they received guests at a reception at the i.Fruit Heights LDS Ward Cultural Hall where the bride was attired in a i:gown of white qiana. The high neckline was accented with a delicate pone de spirit trim ;and hand beaded lace appliques adorned the long sleeves. The bridalr illusion yoke of the bodice was" trimmed with matching lace and beaded appliques. Her fingertip veil fell softly from a matching beaded and lace ! crown. The brides gown was rnade by her mother. , t full-leng- th THE BRIDAL bouquet co- nsisted of a white orchid surrounded with white daisies and yellow roses. the bride was Miss Carrie Fagg, sister of the bride, as maid of honor. .Bridesmaids were Mfss ;Mesha Fagg, sister of the bride, and Miss Alena Collier, : of the groom. Josee : Fagg was the flower girl. sister 'THEY WORE floor-lengt- h fellow gowns styled with pin : tucked bodice and ruffle but- terfly sleeves. They each held 'bouquets of white daisies,yellow roses and white carnatjons. -- The brides mother chose a floor-lengt- gown of h qiana and the grooms mother h chose a gown of yellow qiana. Their corsages were white daisies and yellow roses. floor-lengt- BARBEN performed the duties of best man and Kory Collier was the usher. Following a wedding trip to Sun Valley, Idaho the newlyweds will make their new home in Kaysville. PRENUPTIAL PARTIES were given by Mrs. Ellen Larsen, Mrs. Susan Rasmussen, Mrs. Catherina Hoffman, Mrs. Johanna Jones, Miss Chris Barben, Miss Kathleen Noorda and Mrs. Betty SCOTT Hogge. The bride is a graduate of Davis High School and is attending Weber State College. The groom also graduated from Davis High School and is attending Brigham Young University. He has fulfilled a LDS mission to the Spain Sevilla Mission, np ben. .Barlow Is Guest Speaker Senator Haven J. Barlow was the guest speaker at the Layton Rotary meeting on Wednesday. THE ROTARIANS met at the Chateau Center for their regular monthly meeting. Senator Barlow spoke on the Extended area telephone service in Davis County. THE UTAH Public Service Commission will rehear the issue at a special meeting on April 6 at the Kaysville City Hall as a result of motions for rehearing filed by Mountain Bell and the Division of Public Utilities, np she was married to Richard H. Hamblin in the Salt Lake Temple. He died Feb. 15, She was married to Orson Davis July 18, 1953. She is the mother of six children: Leland V. Hamblin, West Point; Mrs. Ben L. Lama Wardle of Layton; Blaine T. Hamblin, also of Clearfield; and LaMar R. Hamblin of MRS. DAVIS also has three living step children, Elton Hamblin, Clearfield; Mrs. Frances Barkdull, Modesto, Calif.; and Mrs. Mirla Gailey, 100 S., Kaysville, on April 20 at 10 a.m. A Kaysville. i 'V teacher and an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Mrs. Davis enjoys getting out and around and seeing the many changes taking place in this end of the ' i Miss Kathy Lee Beckstrom was crowned Miss Kaysville during the annual pageant at the Davis High School Auditorium Saturday evening, April 7, which was sponsored by the Kaysville JCKs. - MISS BECKSTROM was named as queen from a group of 14 contestants during the competition for the title. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Beckstrom. Named as first attendant was Miss Nancy Jacobs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobs, and Miss Stephanie DeGraw, second attendant, daughter of Mrs. Judith Southworth. Friday, OTHER HONORS went to Miss Linda Romney for talent. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Romney. Miss Michelle Verrier was named Miss Congeniality. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Verrier. Blynn Irvine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Irvine, took the Most Photogenic award.. The first and second attendants will compete in the Miss Davis County Contest. THE NEW Miss Kaysville received a $250 scholarship plus a $100 wardrobe allowance toward the Miss Utah Pageant. The queen, attendants and other winners each received a beautiful engraved trophy and Miss Kaysville a bouquet of red roses and the two attendants each a bouquet of pink roses. Miss Jacobs, first attendant, received a $75 U.S. Savings Bond and Miss DeGraw, second attendant, received a $50 U.S. Savings TED HARRIS (Broker) School 0 She is a senior student at Davis High School. She is of the National Honor Society, Davis Association of Girls Representative, and in FHA. She plans to attend BYU and major in business. MRS.
