Mr. and Mrs. Richard Swasey and family recently vacationed in Astoria, Ore. with friends for one week. Mrs. Helen Barnes spent a few days last week in with her Taylorsville daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hyde. Miss Brenda Thomas is attending Ricks College at Ida. this year. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas. MR AND MRS. WILLIAM H. KING Celebrate 50th Mr. and Mrs. William H. King of Kaysville will be honored on their 50th wedding anniversary with a buffet Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Oakridge Country Club in Farmington. Smith during a ceremony performed in the . Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Salt Lake City on Sept. 2, 1979. The Rev. Dean Kolendrianos, Miss Jeannie Kolendrianos, and Miss Pat Kolendrianos, Mrs. George Markos, Mrs. Nick Bapis, and Mrs. Rob Benson. Gigicos, Rev. Stratton Dorozenski and Rev. John included Mr. and Mrs. John Ziatas officiated. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mrs. William S. Manes, 2601 West Gentile and the late William Manes. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Ellis Glidden of Ware, Mass. Dinner the followed c ceremony at the Travel Lodge in the Prospector Room. They received guests at a reception in the Goldfield c Room of the Travel Tri-Ar- Tri-Ar- Lodge. THE BRIDES chiffon over gown of satin was designed with a fitted bodice featuring a square neckline guests Maurice Neyman, grandparents of the groom from North Smithfield, R. I.; Mr. and Mrs. David Glidden, stepbrother of the groom from Holliston, Mass.; William Glidden, brother of the groom from Ware, Mass.; John Smith, brother of the groom from Decatur, Ga.; Mrs. John T. Gouvisis, Tom Athens, Greece; Polydoras, Mobile, Ala. and Kaysville. They have four living grandchildren and one deceased granddaughter. Jane Burton King was bom the daughter of Charles T. Burton and Emily Brough Flint Burton and was one of five children. Mrs. King has two living sisters: Mrs. Martha Richards of MRS. GOLDA Mr. and Mrs. Tom Serykelas, Seal Beach, Calif. The bride is a graduate of Layton High School and has attended Weber State College. The groom has attended the University of Massachusetts. Clovis, Calif, and Mrs. Isabel Carlisle of Orem, and two deceased brothers. Mrs. King was born and raised in Kaysville, Utah and attended County elementary school PTA for two years, vice president for one year, president of the Central Jr. High School PTA Mrs. King has also held Smith. THE PROGRAM The Lace of the Earth was given by Joyce Thompson and Bonnie Dagsen, with members and guests telling of the countries they would like to visit. Special guests for the evening were Kathy Jackson, Gail Hartwig and Sebean Devol. Cohostess for the evening was Bonnie Dagsen. The Sept. 25 meeting for the sorority was held at the home of Mrs. Bonnie Dagsen. Mrs. Ellie Jacobsen was assisting hostess. SERVING AS best men were Andy Bolos and David Smith. Ushers were Kirk Michael Thomas, Kolendrianos, John Smith, Jeny Koehler, Guy Reed and William Glidden. Ring bearer was Matthew Manes and crown bearer was Robbie Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Marc Lee had their first child, a daughter named Brianne in the Kaysville 9th Ward on Sunday, Sept. 30. Mrs. Lee is the former Julie Cottrell of Kaysville. Flower girls were Pat Kolendrianos, Marcie Manes and Carie Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Nance spent four days last week at SL George. Mr. and Mrs. Laddie Timothy and daughters Suzanne and Emily have moved into their new home in teaching jobs in the Sunday School, Primary and Relief Society for the LDS Church and for 13 years was secretary to the Sunday School for the First Ward in Kaysville. Mrs. King is currently a member of the Lantern Club, with his partner the late Matrons of honor were Mrs. Tom Kolendrianos and Mrs. Dan Vincent. Miss Rea Bringhurst was the maid of All Davis Schools and the LDS Business College of Salt Lake City. She has served as president of the trip took the newlyweds to Disneyland and Southern California.
