OODS CROSS used a press and some great shooting to hand South their third loss as Terrin Hallows and Rodger Lowe picked up the scoring from Earnshaw who usually leads the Cats in that department. Hallows was especially hot in the first half when the Cubs seemed to be keying on Earnshaw. Then Lowe got hot from the outside and the route was on. Fielding a small team. That marked the third game in a row for the West club that has gone down to the wire, the only difference being they won the first two. The Braves have won two tough encounters on the road thus far. over Highland and Woods Cross, so the task of WOODS CROSS will have to be concerned over the height of the Vikes. who feature Brad Gibson. Both clubs were slowed up a little with injuries this past w eek as Mark Earnshaw of the Cats was slowed up by an ankle injury and John White, the talented sophomore, of the Vikes saw very little action with a sprained ankle. Basically though 1 dont think either team is using the football thing as a psychological thing.
