Ida. with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Green. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Green, all of Fruit Heights. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sjoblom. Farmington, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Green. Ogden, all attended the mission farewell of Elder Chris Green in North Ogden on Sunday. Elder Green will serve his mission in the Swiss Mission. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Green. Mrs. Betty McCarty celebrated her birthday anniversary on Jan. 27 at her home with family members. Guests were her husband. Mr. and Mrs. Gary McCarty. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cottrell and families. Dr. Theodore J. Scott, D.C. chiropractor from Layton, returned this week after attending an intenLAYTON sive four-da- y post graduate seminar in Las Vegas. This seminar had to be switched to the Aladdin Hotel as a result of the recent MGM Grand fire. FEATURED ON the program was Lendon Smith, M.D., America's foremost pediatrician and popular author of "Feed Your Kids Right" sharing his discoveries on chi- ldren's nutrition and their health. Dr. Smith, seen frequently on many TV talk shows including The Johnny Carson Show, talked of special lung nutrition for those who suffer smoke inhalation, a subject that seemed to be most current in interest. This seminar was the 25th such gathering in 30 years sponsored by the Parker Chir- - and his inspiration filled every corner. The basis for this particular inspiration was that Dr. Parker was one of the occupants rescued from the MGM fire that tragic Friday morning from his 25th floor balcony by a helicopter.
