Several weeks of intensive preparation and training by 54 young Utah amateur figure skaters will climax April 8 through 12 at Great Falls, Mont., where more than 700 skaters from throughout the western states, including Alaska, and from several Canadian provinces, will compete in the annual Big Sky skating Championships. THE UTAH group, representing several communities along the Wasatch front in Weber, Davis and Salt Lake counties, are all members of the Utah Figure Skating Club (UFSC), headquartered in Bountiful. These skaters, ranging from first-tim- e f I I com petitors to seasoned veterans, and their respective events are: Preliminary Ladies: Kathleen Bryan, Ogden; Catherine Jackson, Bountiful; Carol Ann Richardson and Lisa Herzog, Salt Lake City. SUBJUVENILE Ladies: Nikki Garrett, West Bountiful; Ten Graham, Monica Millard, North Salt Lake; Kim Peck, Christine Adams, Bountiful; Natalie Nalder, Layton; Laura Robertson. Elisa Paul.
