OFJTlHRq Services Rites Held For Earl Colemere LAYTON Agnes Norris Batchelor, 69, former Layton resident for 29 years now of Mesa, Ariz., died Monday at her home following a sudden illness Monday. SHE HAD been active in the Horne and Ellen Carlos Colemere. He married Alvina Moss in Ogden Dec. 13, 1927. Layton LDS 5th and 9th wards, having served in ward and stake Relief Society positions. She was the wife of Walter DeLynn (De) Batchelor MR. COLEMERE retired from Hill AFB after 20 years of service, was a lifetime resident of the Kaysville-Layto- n area and attended Davis County schools. He was a member of the Layton 11th Ward. Survivors inclue his wife of Layton, sons, Dale M. Cole- and they had lived at 61 Beacon Ave. while in Layton. She is survived by three sons: Davis, Mesa; Steven, Tempe, Ariz.; and Gary of Overton, Nev.; Lloyd J. and Floyd R. Colemere, both of Kaysville; Earl W. Colemere, Mesa, Anz.; Mrs. Lane (June) Hickman, Bountiful; Mrs. Leo (Marjorie) Fricks, Layton; Mrs. Loyd (Marie) Paget, West Bountiful; 28 grandchildren and six sister, Mrs. Mamie Hansen, Salt Lake City. Earl Colemere, 88, of Layton, died June 9,. 1981 He was born Dec. 17, 1892 in Kaysville the son of John . Nellie Cole Services Are Held Mrs. Nellie Elizabeth Jack-so- n Cole, 85, of 442 South State, No. 168, Clearfield, died June 6, 1981 in a Clearfield nursing home of an extended illness. She was born Oct. 2, 1895 in Vernal, a daughter of John William and Annie Donna Johnston Jackson. She married Ernest Percy Cole in Kaysville. He died July 16, Green Rites Services were held in the Kaysville Lindquist Mortuary on June 12 with Bishop Klynn Richman of the Promontory Promontory, Ut. died June 9, Hos1981 in the McKay-De- e pital following surgery. He was born May 27, 1915 in Layton the son of Reuben A. and Mabel M. Rushforth Green. Ward officiating. Family nied by Claudia Love; invocation by Arthur Green. SPEAKERS WERE Travis Weaver and Howard Robinett-e- ; two musical selections were given by Ben Tanaka accompanied by Jean Stokes; Keith Love gave the benediction. Pallbearers were Kay Dean attended school in Layton and graduated from Davis High School. At the time of his death he was a member of the Pomon-tor- y the Layton First Ward Elders Quorum. He saw active duty in World War II in Africa, Italy, France and Germany. HE IS survived by two brothers and one sister, Marlin ALTHOUGH reared and educated in Vernal, she had lived in Kaysville from 1923 to 1961 before moving to Clearfield. She was a member of the Clearfield First Ward and had been a Relief Society visiting teacher. She had worked at the Ogden Arsenal. Surviving are five sons and three daughters, William J. Cole, Ogden; Ashley J. Cole and Boyd J. Cole, Layton; Rulon J. Cole, Los Angeles, music by George Rytting; Stephen E. They were guests of another sister, Frank and Lola Arnold at their home in Silver Springs, Md. They spent time in Pennsylvania and New Jersy and enjoyed visit Washington, D.C. visited with his mother Mrs. June Rushforth while en route to San Francisco, Calif, on a business trip. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Heaps andfamily all attended the blessing and naming of their new granddaughter, Stacie Anne, born May 28 and blessed June 7 in Orem. They all enjoyed dinner at the home of Carey Noorda, the childs parents, Peterson was injured in a bicycle accident. He was taken to Primary Childrens Medical Center for treatment of a com- pound fractured leg. nyon Rim Park in Salt Lake City June 8. Joe Preece is president of the family organization. There were 84 descendants present. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cammack spent the holiday weekend in Pingree, Ida. with relatives. Miss Melissa Nance of Morton, III. arrived to visit with her Pats mother has been with them to help. Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Johnson spent the weekend in Fairview with her mother, LADIES & GENTLEMEN, Mrs. J.A. Larsen. Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Marx and family vacationed at Hood River, Ore. with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Parsons. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Allen and children of Talahassee, Fla., are visiting with his parents, Mrs. Inez Nance, for two weeks. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nance, former Kays-vtll- e residents. Rulon Cammack has been very ill the past few weeks at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. He is now convalescing at his home in Vernal. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Cammack and a former Kaysville resident. Bishop and Mrs. Richard Fagg and family attended the graduation exercises at WSC June 5 where their daughter Carrie received her associate degree as a registered nurse. Carrie will be employed at McKay-De- e Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Rushforth have returned from a vacation trip to Las Vegas. They visited with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Layne Rushforth. Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Jay M. Adams were her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Vem Farmer, Mesa, Ariz., and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bristol, Riverside, Calif, who is her brother. Mrs. Janie Heaps spent five days in Orem last week to help with the arrival of a new granddaughter, Stacie Anne, born May 28 to Mr. and Mrs. Carey Noorda. Mrs. Frank Ferrante and Mrs. Leon Heaps hosted a party honoring Mrs. Shar Johnson on her birthday May 1. Vernon Clay is confined to the Davis North Medical Center in Layton undergoing treatment.
