Sustained as the new Relief Neil and Catherine Adams and their five children from Burley, Ida. visited friends and relative living in Layton over the July 4 weekend. They attended the birthday party of their family, Mr. and Mrs. Lot grandson, Ben Adams, whose birthday falls on July 4. Ben is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Adams. Glen Stuart, former Layton resident now living in Saunders, Ariz., is spending most of the summer in Utah attending WSC where he hopes to earn his master's degree in the education field. He is a secondary school teacher in Arizona. Most of his pupils are Indians. Accompaning Mr. Stuart are his wife, Joan, and their children. They are dividing their time in Utah between Glen's family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen W. Stuart and Joan's Society presidency of the Layton Second Ward Relief Society was Fern Bagley, president; Diann Ellis and Susan Stevenson, counselors; Cleone Flint and Betty Hailing secretaries. THE SCHEDULE provides each camper with the opportunity to participate in organized activities. The staff con- CAMP UTADA is a summertime camp held in for boys and girls with diabetes. It is located 15 miles east of Kamas on the road to Mirror Lake. The purpose of the camp is st sists of physicians, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists and social workers who are present at camp throughout the week. Financial support comes en tirely from private donations and camper fees. The camp fee covers room, food, recreational supplies and equipment and all medical supplies for the week. THE LADY Lions group enlisted the help of the Tanner Clinic in finding two young diabetics in the area who would like to attend the camp and who needed financial assistance to pay camp fees, vsb 3 128 spent last week at Camp Bartlett learning scouting skills and working on merit badges. The cub scouts from this same troop enjoyed a family picnic at the Layton Commons Park on Tuesday evening. Waterslide Trip For Clearfield Recreation On July 17 Clearfield Recreation Department's special event of the day will be a trip to the water slide in South Ogden. The cost is $1 for one hour of fun (10-1a.m.).
