Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Buchanan were guests in Salt Lake City at a cousins party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Busby on Sunday. They also visited with an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney T. Bell. Mrs. Barbara Dyal returned Monday evening from a three weeks stay in Canton, Ohio with her daughter and family, Kevin and Kay Flamm. Mrs. Lola Brough entertained at a miscellaneous bridal shower at her home Tuesday evening for 40 guests honoring Miss Julie Kimose who will be married Jan. 29 to George Hyde. Mrs. Lorna Van Ausdel was the cohostess. Last week Bryan and Elaine Rogerson were dinner guests of their son Mr. and Mrs. Terry Rogerson in Salt Lake City. The occasion was that Mrs. Rogerson (Kaye) was being awarded the Bamberger Scholarship for Student Nurse Excellence. Terry is on the staff of the Utah State Museum of Fine Arts, U. of U., and is studying for his masters degree. Mr. and Mrs. William R. Perkins returned from a months stay in California. MRS. FOREST was born Jan. 22, 1928 in Fitchburg, Mass. , a daughter of Hormidas and Rose Vachon Legros. On May 1, 1948 she married .Arrnand Joseph Forest in Fitchburg, Mass. Interment was in the Fort Douglas Military Cemetery in Salt Lake City with military honors accorded by Hill AFB. The funeral was under the direction of Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary. Pallbearers included David R., Jon J. Egleston; John Budd, Bob Harrell, T.J. Jones and Bill Raitt. Funeral services were held Jan. 18 in the Hill AFB Chapel for Lt. Col. (ret.) Lemuel Roy (Tom) Egleston Jr., age 55, of 470 S. Golden Circle, Fruit Heights, who died Jan. 13, at the Davis Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB, Calif., of leukemia. COL. EGLESTON was bom Nov. 30, 1926 in St. Louis, Mo., a son of Lemuel Roy Sr. and Beulah Marie Smith Egleston. He married Billy Kathryn Cheany on Aug. 29, 1946, in Corona, Calif. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 and in the Marine Corps in the Korean War until 1952. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served in Europe, South Africa, SURVIVING are her husband of Fitchburg; one son and two daughters, Joseph Armand Forest, Fitchburg; Linda Barbara Forest, Layton; Paula Marie Forest, Mesa, Ariz.; one grandchild. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Koetitz returned from a months stay in California. They went to welcome a new grandson, the first child born to Stan and Virginia Fisher who reside at San Jose. The new addition arrived on de-M- ik Christmas Day and will be named Stephen Noel. Mrs. Fisher was the former Virginia Koetitz of Kaysville. Julie Koetitz accompanied her parents to California and spent the holidays with them and returned earlier for work. Mr. and Mrs. Koetitz also received word of the arrival of a grandson born Jan. 4 in Rhame, N.D. to their son and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Gerald Koetitz named Seth Alvin. It is the fifth son for Gerald and his wife Nancy and the ninth grandson for Mr. and Mrs. Fred Koetitz, and no granddaughters. Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Christensen were shocked to learn of the death of their nephew, Clifford Longhurst, who was killed in an auto accident Jan. 3, in Tucson, Ariz. Clifford was 18 years old and had lived in Kaysville with the Christensens for a while Rec. Center in Layton. Jennifer is the daughter of Mrs. Marilyn Brace. Mrs. Brace and her son, Don, left Jan. 10 to return to their home in Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Monte Brough are delighted over the arrival of their daughter bora to them on Dec. 24 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. She weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. This is their seventh child. Mrs. Carrolls brother, Howard Jessop, died with a sudden heart attack and his funeral was held Dec. 18 in Cache Valley.
