Both were injured while grandfather, Sunset. M. Packer, all of Moab; grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Packer, Kaysville, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Johnan-seCaldwell, Ida.; greatn, THE JOINT funeral service was held in the Kaysville 4th Ward chapel with Bishop Maurice Lee officiating. Michael Scott Packer, the father, merly lived in Kaysville. 0. Packer, for- Matthew was bom Dec. 25, 1968 in Twin Falls, Ida. He was an eighth grade student and a member of the school band and school council. He was a Deacon in the Moab First Ward and active in scout-in- vocation by Thomas M. Packer. She was a fourth grade student and studied piano. She was active in the Moab First Ward and was a valiant member of the Primary, and worked in the Relief Society nursery. Both children are survived by their parents of Moab, n Adams; prelude and postlude by Mary Barber; remarks by Bishop Knowlton; invocation by Stanley S. Adams; speaker, Bishop Lee H. Johnson. A piano and organ selection was given by Sherrie W. Rampton and Shellie W. Bowman, How Great Thou Art. Other speakers were Pres. Wayne I. Sandall and Patriarch Lynn W. Anderson, noted northern Utah educator, civic and church worker, died Jan. 15. 1982 at the Davis North Medical Center. He was 88 years old and he lived at 1375 S. 1000 W., Syracuse. He was born Jan. 5. 1894 in Pleasant Grove. Ut. the son of Ole and Minnie Nilsen Anderson. HE MARRIED Mary Alice Hill Sept. 12, 1917 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Anderson died Oct. 9, 1975. Mr. Anderson had taught school for 49 years in the P schools of northern Davis County. He was principal of the Syracuse Elementary v i 5 I S3 t . z School for 20 years and wgs also a farmer. ACTIVE in athletics while at Syracuse Elementary and at Davis High School, he was a member of the U. of U. football team and president of the U. of U. graduating class of 1915. He served two LDS mission; one in the Northern States Mission and the other in West Virginia. He served in the presidency of the Seventies Quorum and was a High Priest. He had been president of the MIA. Other accoplishments included director of the Weber-Davi- s Canal District and chair- - man of the ration board of Davis County during World War II. He served in boy scout organizations for 50 years, was ft scout master and organized a Anderson of Pleasant Grove. Ut. No one was injured in either j mishap. THE CARGO plane was landing at the northern Utah air base about 9:30 p.m. last Tuesday. The plane was loaded with cargo from Fair-fiel- d AFB in Washington. A base spokesperson said the plane landed shortly after a snowfall and that the base runways were closed for a short time until visibility improved. CAPT. WILLIAM J.
