Kendell Bowman. He has been a lifelong resident of South Weber. As a young man he worked with his father on the family farm in South W'eber. Later he worked at Ogden Arsenal and Hill Field. A VETERAN I, he served from Oct. 3, 1917 to January 26, 1919. Part of his tour of duty was spent in France. . In the early 1920s he was a member of an outstanding South Weber baseball team, playing first base, in the All Farm Bureau League. i A 30, 1933 he was Hush Puppies sustained as bishop of the South Weber Ward and served in that capacity until 1941. He served a mission in the Mount Ogden Stake and served on the South Ogden Stake High Council.
