SANTA Aid has been a major campaign this wintery month. The student council is collecting money for a needy family, or, if they get enough money, two needy families. One of these families live in Layton. They accept clothes, money, canned goods, toys or anything else youd like to contribute. They have received great amounts of money but the other departments have gone a little slow. Weve collected quite a bit of money and other things, a student council member stated. FOR THE Christmas dance our student council has come up with a few very unusual things. They are going to put barracades around the dance floor to prevent people from crowding like they do at every dance. They are going to hang lights and serve refreshments (root beer and doughnuts), and bring the Christmas tree down from the lobby, they are going to use the arch as a way to get to the dance floor and decorate it with tinsel. Carnations will be sold before the dance. They will be $1.25 a piece with four colors to choose from, white, red, yeilow and blue. There will be very few yellow and blue so get there early.
