Show During their stay on the island they visited the Dole Pineapple Company, the Polynesian Center and attended temple sessions. They visited a fern grotto and admired the abundant vegetation. Here they witnessed a wedding ceremony and listened to the Hawaiian Wedding song sung for the young couple and also for Lucien and Dorothy for their golden wedding day. They also flew to the Island of Maui where they were interested in the fishermen, the sugar cane and pineapple plantations. Going back to Oahu they again boarded the plane for home. Before returning to Utah they visited in California, seeing Disneyland and other attractions. As they departed on the plane Ted presented his parents with beautiful leis and Jean gave them a anthorium plant ( a beautiful plant to serve as a reminder to the couple of the special trip they had had.)
